What does this Care Administrator job involve?

 

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Answering incoming calls professionally and knowledgeably.
  • Fielding new client enquiries, collecting relevant data, and passing it to the care manager.
  • Supporting the operational team with administrative duties.
  • Assisting with recruitment, including reference calls and HR documentation.
  • Scheduling and organising carer training, QA checks, and service reviews.
  • Maintaining accurate client and care records in the CMS.
  • Communicating client and carer concerns to the line manager.
  • Performing on-call duties every 4 weeks.

 

Am I the right person for this Care Administrator job?

 

 What we are looking for:

 

  • Experience in domiciliary care or similar setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
  • GCSE or equivalent required; NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred, ideally in logistics, customer service, or accounts support.
  • Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
