Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our Care Assistants to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.  

We are recruiting in Berkhamstead.

• Competitive rates of pay (£11ph, double pay on bank holidays).
• Travel allowance (30p - 45p per mile).
• A guaranteed hours contract if you have the right availability.
• Holiday pay (accrue 1 hour paid holiday for every 8.28 hours worked).

• Minimum 1-hour visits (no 15 minute or half-hour calls).
• Visiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationship.
• In-house learning and development programme.
• Fully supported ongoing training also working to achieve the Care Certificate.
• Opportunity for City & Guilds accredited Alzheimer's training.

• Support our local clients - ensuring they continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible
• Ensure that the environment in which they live is safe and clean
• Provide companionship based care and support
• Provide ongoing, continuity of care
• Provide Personal Care
• Administering Medication (After training)

No qualifications or experience is required all full training is provided - All new Care Assistants must undergo 4 days of New CAREGiver Assessment training, which is held at our offices in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.

All you'll need is a big heart, the right attitude and a passion to care and to keep our elderly clients living within their own homes.
