About the Company

 

Your local Home Instead has a new opening for an experienced Care Assistant or Health Care Specialists available either in the afternoon or evening for approximately 3 hours a day - to provide complex care to an elderly individual. If you are looking to work in your local community of Goff’s Oak and help change the life of an elderly person with Alzheimer’s, then we would love to hear from you.

Every care call with Home Instead is a minimum of 1 Hour – allowing all our Care Pros to dedicate their attention to forming a close bond, and a fantastic level of care.

We are looking for a professional Care Assistant that is able to take on and handle the complex care this individual’s needs. If you have experience working with elderly that have complex dementia, and local to the Goff’s Oak area then Home Instead – Cuffley, Cheshunt and Harlow would love to speak with you.

What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Personal Care – We supporting our clients with their personal and intimate care in line with their care plan, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of the client.

Companionship – A large part of what we do is companionship based care. We aim to ‘be there for them’ encourage participation and involvement in daily activities. We are communicative and engaging  ‘A problem shared is a problem halved’

Home Help – from helping with shopping and meal preparation to giving them a hand with the hoovering, ‘A clean place is a safe place.’

This a challenging role, but no doubt one of the most rewarding!
