Axiom Home Care is looking for a Support Worker in the Berkhamsted area and surrounding.

 

We are a nurse-led domiciliary care company dedicated to providing exceptional care services in Hemel Hempstead, Tring, and Berkhamsted - you would be required to travel between these areas. Our offerings include personal care, dementia care, respite care, live-in care, companionship, domestic support, and care for complex needs.

 

Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

What does this Support Worker job involve?

 

  • Assist residents with daily activities (personal care, dressing, meals) and mobility.
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Administer medication under supervision and monitor/report changes in residents' health or behaviour.
  • Drive residents to appointments/outings and maintain a clean, safe environment.

  • Previous experience in care, nursing homes, or home care (desirable).
