Freedom Care (Herts) Ltd is seeking a Support Worker for our family run business covering the Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Hoddesdon, Ware and Stansted Abbots areas. We provide personal care, medication, nutrition and fluids, light housework duties, companionship visits and helping client's access the community. We pride ourselves with providing person-centred care at all times, and at a high standard. We have recently received an award for being in the top 20 providers in the whole East of England area.
We have good relationships with our service users, being open and transparent at all times. The care we provide must be the care (and above) that we would expect our own family members to receive.

Our day to day duties vary depending on the visit we do and the service user but typically may involve:
- Morning calls - entail all aspects of personal care, toileting including incontinence care, catheter care, oral hygiene, making the bed, breakfast, medication, putting the washing machine on, light housework duties.
- Lunch time - toileting, incontinence /catheter care, nutrition and fluids, medication, light housework duites.
- Tea time - toileting, incontinence /catheter care, nutrition and fluids, medication, light housework duites.
- Evening call - toileting, incontinence /catheter care , nutrition and fluids, medication, getting them changed for bed and possibly assisting into bed.
- Companionship calls - where we are there to interact with service users and reduce them feeling isolated or to give their main carer some respite.
- Accessing the community - going for coffee, walks, taking service users to appointments, clubs/church etc, depending on their needs and wishes.
