About the Company

 

We are a small home who provide care and support for elderly Christians, it has a family feel, we are looking for a housekeeper who will be able to manage houskeeping tasks, this will help the carers to provide a holistic approach to the resident's day to day needs.

What does this Housekeeper job involve?

 

  •  To be directly responsible to the Home Manager.
  • To clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment.
  • To be aware of the health and safety statement and of the COSHH statement and undertake training regarding this other areas relevant to the role
  • To clean sanitary and other equipment, with particular attention to guidelines for infection prevention and control.
  • To report any malfunction of equipment or fittings that require maintenance or cannot be kept to standard through normal cleaning procedures.
  • To deal with the waste bags and their prescribed disposal.
  • To assist with resident’s laundry and to distribute clothes into the residents’ rooms.
  • To assist with kitchen duties and with the hygiene of the kitchen in order to help the cook work more effectively
  • To perform other such reasonable duties as may be required.
