An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager to manage a range of house keeping duties as a member of a care team which is designed to provide a homely and caring atmosphere where the customers’ quality of life is maximised.
- You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the housekeeping operation in the home including supervising the team of housekeepers to ensure our home provides a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Working as part of an integrated care team, you’ll help create caring environment, where our resident's dignity is never compromised and their independence is encouraged.
- To ensure compliance with COSHH Regulations. Maintain company COSHH manuals
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, in accordance with the guidelines on the use of cleaning materials and equipment
- To organise & participate in staff meetings, training and development and staff reviews
- To manage the house keeping budget and produce bi-monthly stock takes. Agree action to be taken in the event of an overspend
- To supervise and/or undertake basic housekeeping tasks throughout the home, including laundry. Monitor all areas to ensure they are kept in a hygienic condition
- Previous relevant experience together with excellent multitasking and communication skills, are essential.
