We are a small family-run home that loves to provide home-cooked meals and baked puddings to our residents. We are looking for a weekend Chef to take ownership of the kitchen and provide food for 21 individuals. There is room for the Chef to work extra hours by covering holidays but also potentially have a day in the week as a regular shift.

The Chef must be able to:
- Cook a Sunday Roast of either Gammon, Lamb or Chicken and alternate every Sunday.
- Make up a menu or suggest meals to put on the menu.
- Be flexible with menus depending on what is provided/what is in season.
- Provide a cold meal and desert for tea time.
- Be able to bake cakes and puddings.
- Work every Sat and Sun 9am - 2pm (10hrs per week)
- Ensure the kitchen is clean before going home.
- Maintain and follow the Safer Foods Better Business folder.
- Complete other food checks and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Liaise with management on menus and suggesting new recipes
- Liaise with management on Health and Safety of the kitchen and report any incidents.
